Enrichment Opportunities for Grades K-3

The purpose of this page is to highlight enrichment opportunities for students in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade.  These opportunities are optional and meant to serve as a resource.  Each activity can be completed in 10 - 15 minutes.  Feel free to select as many or as few activities as you would like.  There will be opportunities for students to share their work on Flipgrid, via email, or on Zoom.
This page will be updated weekly with new material each Monday.
Each week I will highlight an enrichment activity, a new math game, and a website to explore.
Monthly, I will provide a featured choice menu and calendar.
Previous materials will be published in the Archives.
Note that younger students can do most of these activities with the assistance of an adult or older sibling.

One possible way to use this site is to select an activity for each day.  Another option could be to select one or two activities a week.  An example schedule may look like this:

Mon: Math Game
Tues: Activity from Thinking Calendar
Wed: Explore Activity
Thurs: Activity from Reading Choice Menu
Fri: STEAM Challenge

If you wish to explore different or additional options, check out the Continuity of Learning Documents or Recommended Websites.  Also, feel free to contact me with any questions or requests for specific support.
