3:20 Introductions and Assigning of Roles
Celebrations! -Beginning of the year has gone well! -Steam room up and running and being used by teacher -Morning work evolving into more hands-on activities...tubs are being created by parent volunteers for teachers to utilize in their classrooms. Parent volunteers will be sending info home to all parents about interest in helping with donations for Maker Space. -Flexible seating opportunities available in some classrooms and donations are needed for teachers interested. -New teachers are transitioning well to Pattie and are being welcomed by staff. -Parents feel very informed this year with the communication from Pattie
3:35 Principal’s Report
# Students-691 students...should be keeping 5 teachers per grade level Budget- September 30th- 95% for teacher salaries, approx. $200,000 for everything else Status on the new addition to Pattie- 10 new classrooms (5 K and 5 1st Grade, 1 science lab) additional parking lot with 42 spaces. Construction will begin this spring off of the 4th grade hallway. Playground will be moved.
3:49 PTCO update: -Read-A-Thon coming soon -Enrichment Matters is offering great opportunities for students. 3 sessions of it this year instead of 2
3:50 Superintendent’s Instructional Advisory Council-Nothing to report until October -Teachers will only be required to have a minimum of 9 grades per subject per quarter per student each quarter instead of 18. -State has adopted 20 minute recesses for elementary schools.
4:00 Open Chair Parent Time Responsive Classrooms instead of color changes. Teachers will be communicating with parents through the calendars being sent home daily. Positive reaction so far with teachers and parents.

4:10 BinE Parking Lot - Set Agenda for next meeting. Maker Space PTCO Budget if we have it Adjust meeting start time to 3:30 BinE Parking Lot is the place to add items you would like discussed. It stands for Baldrige in Education.
4:15 Date for next meeting: October 12, 2016
